Fanfare is an AI marketing-campaign generator: you write a short text brief about what you're marketing, and our AI returns a coordinated, full-funnel campaign — a big idea, taglines, social posts, ad scripts and ad copy, SEO meta, landing-page copy, an email sequence and more — plus a free moodboard of real stock photos. There are no file or image uploads; the only thing you send us is the text you type. We've built it to be privacy-respecting by default. This policy explains what we collect, how the text you enter is used, and the limited third parties involved. By using Fanfare you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: the text you type is sent only to the AI engine to generate your campaign — there are no uploads. We do not store your briefs or your generated campaigns on our servers, and they are never used to train AI models. Your account lives in your own browser, and payments are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see your card number.
localStorage — not on our servers. There is no server-side user database. We use these details, along with your credit balance and a short local generation history, only to keep you signed in and show your balance on your own device. We use the text you enter only to create the campaign you asked for, and your account data only to display your balance and history on your device. We do not sell your data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share your briefs with anyone except the AI engine that generates your result.
When you submit a brief and click generate, the text is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our third-party AI engine — Google Gemini, accessed via Google's server-side Generative Language API — for the single purpose of writing your campaign. No files or images are ever uploaded; only your typed brief is sent. The result is returned directly to your browser. After processing:
Google's processing of data sent through its API is governed by Google's API terms. Please enter only text you have the right to use, and do not include other people's personal data in your brief. If a brief incidentally includes personal information, it is handled the same way as any other text — sent only to the AI engine to render your result and never stored on our servers.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The storage we rely on is functional: your account name, email, hashed password, credit balance, redemption history and a short list of your recent campaigns live in your browser's localStorage so we can keep you signed in and remember your balance on that device. There is no server-side user database. Clearing your browser data will remove this information from the device. If we use any analytics, it is limited to aggregate, non-identifying usage measurement.
Purchases are handled entirely by PayPal under its own privacy policy. Fanfare never receives or stores your card or bank details. We may keep a minimal, best-effort server-side fulfillment record so we can honor your purchase and prevent abuse — for example a timestamp, the IP address, and redemption-code usage — but never any brief or generated content.
To prevent abuse and protect the shared API key behind the service, Fanfare logs coarse request metadata transiently — for example the IP address and a timestamp of a request. This metadata is used for rate-limiting and security only. It does not include your brief or generated content, and it is kept briefly and then discarded or anonymized.
We keep outside services to the minimum needed to run Fanfare:
Because your account is stored locally, you control most of your data directly. The briefs you enter and your generated campaigns are not retained on our servers. Fulfillment records and technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, abuse-prevention and honoring purchases, then discarded or anonymized. To delete your local account at any time, log out and clear your browser storage for this site. If you have a question about data tied to a purchase, email us and we'll help.
Fanfare is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law) without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. Please do not use the service if you are under that age without guardian permission.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and during processing, including encrypted connections to our AI and payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what we hold — your brief isn't stored after processing, and your account stays on your device.
Fanfare and its providers (including PayPal and Google) may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, those providers apply their own safeguards for international transfers. By using Fanfare you understand that your brief may be processed by the AI engine outside your country solely to generate your campaign.
We may update this policy as the service evolves or as laws change. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use Fanfare after an update means you accept the revised policy.
